Real Estate Code of Ethics |
|
(While the Code of Ethics establishes obligations that may be higher than those mandated by law, in any instance where the Code of thics and the law conflict, the obligations of the law must take precedence.)
I pledge to:
- Protect and promote the interests of my client while treating all parties honestly and fairly.
- Never deliberately mislead an owner about the market value of his/her home.
- Disclose and represent fairly when acting on behalf of both the buyer and seller (dual agency).
- Submit offers and counter-offers objectively and as quickly as possible.
- When representing the seller, submit all offers until closing.
- When representing the buyer, submit all offers and counter-offers until acceptance.
- Preserve confidential information.
- Never reveal client’s confidential information to the disadvantage of the client.
